I had the pleasure of meeting this amazing family recently at the CU Boulder campus for some fun, relaxed family photos. I don’t do a whole lot of family stuff, though I do find myself doing them more and more lately. The weather was perfect, and thank god, the campus was pretty much empty. Anyhow, enjoy…..
Jamie and Wael were recently married at First Congregational Church in Boulder, CO followed by a reception at their home. Despite a little bit of a rain delay, the rest of the evening was wonderful. Jamie and Wael have the perfect location for a backyard wedding, and everyone appeared to have a blast.
I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Jamie, her daughter Mattea, and Wael for a little Engagement/Family photos the other day in Boulder’s Chautauqua park. When we met, Mattea could barely look at me as she was extremely shy, but by the end of the shoot, she had become the star. Many thanks to all for being such great sports, and putting up with my crazy ideas.
Jesse and Cathay flew out from Chicago last weekend which gave us a chance to grab some engagement photos from around Boulder. Generally I have to prompt a couple to kiss for a couple photos, but in this case they just kept doing it! I even heard Cathay after a certain point say no more kissing photos. They are truly in love. Thanks to you both for being such good sports, and looking forward to your big day this summer!!!
